Giving to the One who has everything

Our God is completely sovereign, completely sufficient and completely good.  Out of His abundance he provides every one of our needs, and many of our desires.  God has called us to be good stewards of what He has given us and to give generously to the work of His Kingdom, as He has given generously to us.

God does not ask us to give because He needs anything from us.  He asks us to give because He desires to bless and enrich us, and to grow our reliance and dependence on Him.  In 2 Corinthians 9:11 Paul gives this encouragement to those who gave generously to God’s work, “You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God”.

We pray that this may also be true of you who give so generously to God’s work through Navigators.
