Luke Midena
Luke serves as the Canberra City Leader and National Missions Director for the Australian Navs. He is also an ordained Anglican priest. Having grown up in Darwin, he now calls Canberra home, where he lives with his wife and children.
At the heart of Luke’s ministry is Jesus’ urgent call to pray for workers for the harvest – first spoken before a crowd of “harassed and helpless” people, and no less urgent in our world today. Whether in Canberra or across the globe, he longs to see every follower of Jesus step courageously and clearly into God’s mission – making disciples who make disciples.
Luke is passionate about equipping ordinary Christians to serve fruitfully where God has placed them – in families, neighbourhoods, workplaces, and friendships. He is convinced that when everyday believers live with spiritual depth and intentional faith, the gospel advances naturally through ordinary lives.
