South Asia Mission Trip 2026
Mission is on the very heart of God. God is a sending God. For God so loved THE WORLD that He sent His only Son to die for it.

This trip is an opportunity to see what God is doing beyond Australia and participate in it firsthand. Together we will encourage local believers and foreign workers, share the gospel with locals and be encouraged and spurred on in our faith as we learn from those faithfully making disciples across generations.
For many participants, trips like this become pivotal moments of spiritual growth, shaping their vision for ministry, mission, and life with God. Even if someone never serves overseas long-term, we’re confident this experience will help develop disciples in Australia who labour locally in light of God’s global mission.
Destination
South Asia is exciting for its diversity of peoples, languages, cultures, ministries, and terrain.
We will fly into and travel around various areas of the city. A multiple night homestay is being planned with local believers to get a taste of what their daily life and ministry is like as they live and disciple amongst their non-believing communities.
There is also a 5-6 day pioneering trip to another city to try to make contacts where there are currently no known believers.
Purpose
The believers we’ll be visiting in South Asia are a wonderful model of ministry in a Christlike way and have seen fruit in recent years as they have established themselves in local communities with no knowledge of the gospel through hiring locals as guides in a tourism business.
We hope to serve by:
● Encouraging local labourers in walking with Jesus and making disciples.
● Sharing the gospel through stories and testimonies with local people.
● Helping make new contacts for local labourers to follow up.
● Supporting the ministry through prayer.
We also expect to grow through:
● Developing a vision and heart for the nations and what God can do in our local contexts.
● Learning from local labourers and ministries as they live as minorities in their communities.
● Growing in character through challenge and cross-cultural experience.
● Learning greater dependence on God and one another as a ministry team.
● Exploring whether God may be calling some of us to overseas mission.
