Doug and Geneve Utley
When Doug and Geneve met as young believers, they had no idea of where God would lead, but they believed it would be helping people become followers of Christ somewhere in Asia. After marrying, they had the ideal opportunity of learning about discipleship personally and discipling others at UNSW where Doug was teaching. They saw God bring scores of Australian and Internationals students believe and grow and lead others. They still had moving to an Asian country in mind, but God seemed to say, ‘How about I bring Asia to you.’ So they moved to Monash University in Melbourne and saw God work again there and in other Universities in Melbourne. Doug then had leadership responsibilities, but now they are back among family and friends ‘knowing Christ and making Christ known’.
