David and Julie McIntosh
Dave and Jules had been serving with Navigators since 2012 and 2013 respectively, but took on the leadership of the campus team in 2015, serving amongst the 40,000+ students at Macquarie University until 2021.
They continue to be excited by the Navigators' calling “To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of labourers living and discipling among the lost” in a different harvest field. They also continue to lead our Short Term Missions, and Dave remains a member of the National Council.
"Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well" 1 Thessalonians 2:8
This verse has encouraged them throughout their time working with Navigators; as Paul says, he, Silas and Timothy not only shared the Gospel, but their whole lives with those they were ministering to.
They see it as a privilege to declare God’s name amongst so many who do not yet know Jesus, and in particular to be a part of equipping young men and women to grow into disciple-makers who lead others to do the same!
