During the conference, medical issues could arise. Whilst we, the medical officer(s), will endeavour to consult with you, there might be instances where this is not possible, practicable or where the guardian of a minor is not present. We need your consent/authorisation in advance so that timely treatment can be commenced. It is envisaged that most situations would involve providing basic first aid, but medical emergencies could also arise where urgent treatment needs to be commenced.
