Robert Bolton
Robert is City Leader for the Brisbane Metro and Regional Areas and is a member of the National Leadership Team.
He is trusting the Lord to see many people trust Christ through the propagation of the gospel by our labourers and labouring communities who are prayerfully going, living and sharing the gospel among the lost, and also to raise up godly men and women who themselves will be the foundations of many spiritual generations of fruitful reproducing labourers and disciple-makers.
We trust by God’s grace they will continue to multiply to successive generations for a lifetime and, together with others in the body of Christ, to help equip and send disciple-making labourers to the nations thus helping to fulfil Christ’s Great Commission in our generation and indeed to successive generations for God’s glory alone until Christ comes again - come Lord Jesus!
This task can only be done through God’s grace and the enabling and leading of the Holy Spirit as we trust and obey Christ and keep God’s Word central by faith. A good reminder is Zechariah 4:6: “Then the Lord said to me, ‘This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.’” (ESV).
